Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

Aperintelligence ("Aperintelligence", "we", "us", or "our") is a technology and AI company. We build AI-native systems for organisations, communities, and individuals. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data when you visit our website or interact with our services.

2. Data We Collect

We may collect the following categories of personal data:

3. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data under the following legal bases:

4. How We Use Your Data

5. AI Processing

Our tools are built on a small number of AI providers, primarily Google's Gemini, with Anthropic's Claude, OpenRouter, and Hugging Face as fallbacks if the primary provider is unavailable. Your inputs are transmitted to whichever provider is handling the request, to generate a response. Aperintelligence does not use your inputs to train AI models. You should not submit sensitive personal data, confidential commercial information, or data belonging to third parties through our AI tools. Please review the relevant provider's own privacy policy for details on how they handle API data.

6. Digital Business Cards

Our digital business card tool (cards.aperintelligence.com) lets you build a shareable public card. When you submit one, we collect only what you choose to enter: your name, tagline, bio, phone number, email address, WhatsApp number, LinkedIn address, the organisations and roles you list, a photograph and a company logo if you upload them, and your IP address, which we use only to prevent abuse of the submission form.

A card is deliberately public once approved, since sharing it is the whole point of the tool; do not include anything you would not want a stranger who has the link to see.

Every submission, including any photo or logo, is checked by an automated review before it can go live, using the same AI providers named in section 5, solely to check the content is safe and appropriate to publish. That automated screen is backed by ongoing human review from our team, who can act on a card at any time if something needs a second look. None of these providers use your submission to train their models.

We do not add card data to a mailing list, use it for marketing, or contact you for any purpose beyond the card itself, its review status, and the private link you need to edit it.

A card and its record are kept for six months from creation, after which they are deleted automatically and you are emailed a link to make a new one if you would like. You can update your card at any time using the private edit link you were given when you submitted it. If you would like your card removed sooner, email legal@aperintelligence.com and we will take it down.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your data with:

8. Data Retention

Project brief submissions are retained for up to 12 months to allow us to follow up on enquiries. Contact information submitted via the contact form is retained until you request deletion or for up to 24 months, whichever is sooner. Chat session data is not stored beyond the active session unless a project brief is submitted. Digital business cards are retained as described in section 6.

9. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, email us at legal@aperintelligence.com or use the contact form on our website. We will respond within 30 days.

11. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your personal data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls on stored data. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
