Cookie Policy

1. Cookies and browser storage

A cookie is a small text file a website saves in your browser. Local storage and session storage are similar spaces your browser gives a website to remember small pieces of information. This policy covers all three.

2. What is always on

These are needed to do what you have asked the site to do, so they are not offered as a choice. Aperintelligence sets no cookies of its own for any of them; they use your browser's local storage instead.

• Theme preference: remembers whether you chose the light or dark version of the site.
• Form carry-over: when you move from the Intelligence Maturity Score or the Intelligence Brief Generator into a project request, your answers are carried across so you do not have to type them again. Cleared when you close the tab.
• Your cookie choice: remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics, so you are not asked again on every page.

3. Analytics, only if you accept

We use Google Analytics 4 to count page visits and see which pages people find useful. It sets cookies in your browser, normally named _ga and _ga_ followed by a property identifier, which tell one visitor apart from another so a repeat visit is not counted twice.

Nothing analytics-related loads until you accept. If you decline, no analytics script runs and no analytics cookie is set. If you accept and later change your mind, declining clears the cookies that were already set.

There are no advertising cookies, no social media cookies, and no other third-party tracking. Nothing on this site follows you around the web.

4. Changing your mind

Select Cookie Preferences in the footer of any page to bring the notice back and change your answer. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it, and takes effect straight away. Your choice is remembered for twelve months, after which we ask again.

5. Third parties

These third parties are involved in serving this site.

• Google Analytics receives page-view data, and only after you have accepted.
• Vercel hosts the website and may set its own infrastructure cookies as part of delivering it.
• jsDelivr serves two open-source animation libraries the pages use.
• AI model providers receive what you type into our tools and into the Lumen assistant, in order to generate a reply. We do not send them your name or contact details unless you type them in yourself.

Each of these operates under its own privacy and cookie policies, which we do not control.

6. How to control storage

You can control and delete cookies and browser storage at any time through your browser settings. Disabling strictly necessary cookies may affect the functionality of our tools. Instructions for managing cookies in common browsers:

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies changes. Updates will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of our website after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
